Swimming Levels description of Cogua Aquatics Levels

Our Level 1 purpose is strictly for water survival. In this level we train the muscles and work on muscle memory to make it first nature on how to survive in a water situation. In case your swimmer falls in the water at any given time we teach the skills needed to roll to their back and float until someone comes to their aid.

Our Level 2 purpose is getting from one side of the pool to the other with no assistance and without touching the ground or holding the wall. In this level we introduce technique on basic skills of Freestyle and Backstroke. The swimmer will be able to get across the pool, get in, and get out on their own.

Our Level 3 purpose is basic skills in Freestyle and Backstroke. In this level we introduce the arms, legs, and side breathing in freestyle and arms and legs in backstroke. The swimmer will have the basic concept on both the strokes when they complete this level.

Our Level 4 purpose is basic skills in Butterfly and Breaststroke In this level we introduce the arms, legs, and breathing in Butterfly and Breaststroke. The swimmer will have the basic concept on both the strokes when they complete this level.
Our Level 5 purpose is Competitive skills in Freestyle and Backstroke. In this level we will make sure the arms, legs, and side breathing in freestyle and arms and legs in backstroke are good for any competition. The swimmer will have the advance concept on both the strokes when they complete this level.
Our Level 6 purpose is Competitive skills in Butterfly and Breaststroke. In this level we will make sure the arms, legs, and breathing in Butterfly and Breaststroke are good for any competition. The swimmer will have the advance concept on both the strokes when they complete this level.
